Yy chair, a solid wood curved chair that embodies the beauty of flowing water. Inspired by the gentle stream between rocks in the mountains, it captures the elusive nature of water. Unlike traditional furniture, Yy chair presents elegance and fluidity, utilizing curved wood craftsmanship and delicate lines. The Y-shaped legs and backrest support create a layered aesthetic, reflecting the chair's soft and lightweight design. The wood grain on the curved wood cleverly echoes the imagery of water. The curved wood structure ensures strength and allows easy movement and stacking, meeting modern lifestyle needs and aesthetics. It brings the charm of flowing water into contemporary spaces, adding a sense of tranquility and vitality. Taiwan, once a leading nation in woodworking and woodworking machinery, has faced challenges due to long-term outsourcing, causing a decline in the industry. This includes the application of solid wood curved wood craftsmanship. We aim to showcase Taiwan to the world through innovative designs. We also consider environmental sustainability issues. Curved wood processing, compared to using whole pieces of wood, effectively reduces waste, improves utilization, and minimizes material loss caused by cutting larger volumes due to curved shapes. It also preserves the integrity of the natural wood grain. Yy chair not only emphasizes functionality and aesthetics but also delves into Taiwan's manufacturing history, culture, and environmental sustainability issues. We hope to bring the culmination of Taiwanese furniture craftsmanship and innovative design into the lives of Taiwanese people, creating new experiences and making strides in the international market.​​​​​​​
